Sculptural necklace in 24 k gold plated 925 silver. Designed and handmade in Oslo. 

The chain is 50 cm / 20 inches long. Weighs 10,7 grams. 

All our jewelry is made of 100 % recycled gold and 90-95 % recycled silver.

ABOUT THIS PIECE

The Betzy Necklace is a part of The Hydra Collection. Imagine you open the jewelry box containing the treasures of an elderly Italian woman. Add a little hint of the 90's and also the lines in Van Gogh's landscape paintings - that sums up the inspiration behind The Hydra Collection.

Each piece in the collection is named after a person who made a difference - this is to honour people who has used their voice to speak up against different forms of injustice. The Betzy Necklace is named after the Norwegian feminist and women's right activist Betzy Kjelsberg. She is one of the reasons working conditions was improved in Norway in the early 20th century, with a ban on child labour, the introduction of 8-hours days and paid maternity leave.
